At eConnect, we had the pleasure of developing Cieplo24, an e-commerce website specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, photovoltaics, and an array of technical products essential for both residential and commercial applications. Cieplo24 offers an extensive product catalog featuring over 40.000 items from top global brands, ensuring quality and variety for every customer. Our role in building this platform was not only to ensure functional robustness and a seamless user experience but also to establish a strong digital presence that reflects Cieplo24’s commitment to expertise, reliability, and convenience.

The Cieplo24 platform was developed using PHP and MySQL for a solid backend foundation, handling the extensive catalog and complex database requirements. We implemented a well-organized MySQL structure that supports fast product retrieval, efficient filtering, and seamless transactions. The data organization reflects the breadth of the product range while allowing users to quickly navigate between categories like heating technology, photovoltaics, ventilation, and workshop tools.

For the user interface, we leveraged JavaScript and Vue.js, creating a dynamic, responsive, and intuitive front-end experience. Vue allowed us to modularize the codebase, ensuring that updates to one part of the site could be implemented without impacting other sections. This modularity was essential given the diverse range of products, from large-scale heating equipment to delicate photovoltaic components. Vue’s reactivity also enabled us to integrate real-time cart and checkout updates, enhancing the shopping experience and reducing any friction in the purchasing process. HTML and CSS were fundamental in establishing the site’s structure and styling, emphasizing clarity and ease of use. Our team focused on creating a design that is visually appealing yet straightforward, allowing users to access detailed information on products with minimal effort. We utilized a clean, professional aesthetic that aligns with Cieplo24’s brand identity, promoting user trust and encouraging engagement with the extensive content offered.

Considering the functional demands of the platform, we implemented a robust search and filter system (based on Elastic Search), allowing customers to narrow down their product selection by category, brand, and technical specifications. Each product page includes detailed descriptions, technical information, and guides to support customer decision-making, especially for items like boilers that require careful selection. We also incorporated backend optimization techniques to ensure smooth, uninterrupted performance during peak shopping periods.

A vital feature of the Cieplo24 platform is its support for a streamlined purchasing process, including various payment options, installment plans, and a secure checkout environment. Working closely with Cieplo24, we developed functionalities for account management, order tracking, and customer feedback integration, ensuring users can interact with the brand beyond just a one-time purchase. The addition of social proof via customer reviews reinforces credibility, while options like installment plans through Santander increase accessibility to high-value products.
