At eConnect, we strive to enhance the digital shopping experience by integrating innovative AI solutions into e-commerce platforms. One of our most exciting projects has been the development of Cieplik, an intelligent virtual assistant designed for Ciepło24, an industry – leading e-commerce platform specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and photovoltaics. Cieplik transforms customer interactions by providing instant assistance, improving order tracking, and making product discovery seamless.
Built using a combination of CakePHP, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and Vue.js, Cieplik is fully integrated with Ciepło24’s extensive product catalogue and order database. This allows customers to receive real – time updates on their orders, track shipping statuses, and find the most relevant products based on their specific needs. Whether a user is searching for a new boiler, comparing solar panel options, or inquiring about a past purchase, Cieplik provides quick, accurate, and relevant responses, significantly improving customer satisfaction.
One of the standout features of Cieplik is its intuitive activation system. The assistant is easily accessible through a floating icon in the lower – right corner of the website, represented by a charming gnome with fiery hair, a mascot that embodies the warmth and energy of the brand. This engaging design helps establish a friendly, approachable customer support presence, encouraging users to interact with the AI assistant rather than navigate complex menus or wait for human support.
Cieplik’s interface is built with Vue.js, ensuring a dynamic, responsive, and interactive experience. Vue’s reactive components enable real-time communication with the backend, allowing users to receive instant updates on their queries. The assistant seamlessly switches between multiple predefined languages, catering to a diverse customer base and making it accessible to international shoppers.
On the backend, CakePHP and MySQL power Cieplik’s logic, providing a structured, efficient, and scalable database connection. The system ensures rapid access to order details, product recommendations, and store policies, all while maintaining high levels of data security. Thanks to AJAX – driven interactions, customers experience real – time responses without unnecessary page reloads, enhancing both speed and usability.
From a development standpoint, our goal with Cieplik was not only to enhance the user experience but also to reduce the workload on customer service teams. By handling common inquiries, such as “Where is my order?” or “Which heating system is best for my home?”, Cieplik allows Ciepło24’s support staff to focus on more complex customer needs. The assistant is continuously updated and refined to expand its capabilities and improve response accuracy based on customer interactions.
By combining modern AI-driven automation with a user-friendly interface, Cieplik represents a new standard in e-commerce support. It’s an engaging, efficient, and intelligent tool that enhances the shopping experience while optimizing operational efficiency.
